ABOUT THE JOB

You will be responsible for supporting the corresponding Sub Domains as the lead analyst and will work directly for the PMO Lead and PMO Manager on a larger-scale organisational-wide program. The range of initiatives will span from a single project within a line of business in a single region through to working across lines of business across multi-regions and in a complex stakeholder environment. The role will also include uplifting of Delivery standards across the Program.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Financial Management – Ensure financial forecasting and actualisation of multiple workbooks and month end position and updating of all required systems (Clarity, SAP etc)
2. Project Reporting Management – Work with the Delivery Owner and PM to ensure reporting is correctly submitted each month.
3. Support Project Integration Management – Ensure that project planning, execution and control are properly integrated.
4. Cost Management - Monitor financials to ensure achievement and accurate capture of planned project costs and benefits.
5. Benefits Management – Support Delivery Owner and PM in Facilitating delivery of the business outcomes and to enable the project sponsor to realise return on investment.
6. Knowledge Management – Support Delivery Owner and PM to ensure they adhere and contribute to knowledge management objectives and processes. Ensure knowledge harvesting occurs at all appropriate phases of the project.
7. Time Management - Develop and maintain project resource and work plans. Monitor project plans to reflect project progress, change and issues resolutions.
8. Resource Management – Acquire and manage project resources.
9. Maintain a good understanding of international best practice, industry trends and directions in both business and technology, and an awareness of global developments.
10. Provide the project community with leadership and subject matter expertise in project execution.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

1. 4-6 years in experience in a similar role
2. Attention to detail, strong Financials management skills.
3. Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge.
4. Ability to effectively manage competing work priorities, excellent time management skills
5. Strong all round project management experience
6. Strong stakeholder and engagement experience
7. Strong analytical skills, ability to draw insights and provide recommendations
8. Understanding of Agile methodologies and an ability to apply these in practise.
9. A solid understanding in project management methodologies, tools and processes across the project lifecycle, in particular the Project Management Body of Knowledge.
10. Advanced and confident communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior business and technology management
11. Proven management abilities
12. Proven ability to lead, coach people to achieve successful outcomes
13. Influencing and negotiation skills
14. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines without compromising on quality
15. Enthusiastic and energetic problem solver to join an ambitious team
16. Knowledge/expertise in managing finance cost centres/project budgets
17. Knowledge/expertise in managing resource/capacity management tools
18. Tertiary degree in Finance, Banking or Accounting from a recognised institution is preferred.
