ABOUT THE JOB

As a Data Protection Analyst, you will work with Data Protection Ops and Platforms teams; Look for areas for improvements in our operating and monitoring processes, practices, or policies.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Splunk and other Data Loss Prevention systems to develop and produce recurring reports (fortnightly, quarterly, etc.) and metrics that clearly describe, measure, and report Data Protection posture and the Data Loss Prevention services capability.
• Leverage Data Management, analysis, and data mining techniques to derive trends and patterns in Data.
• Look for areas of improvement in process, policies, and business operating models.
• Triage incidents daily to prevent data loss to unauthorized entities or external third parties.
• Escalate policy-breach incidents to -business through an event management system and provide other divisions of the Bank with guidance on how to handle data and share information in secure ways.
• Design, Build, Deploy, Configure and Document DLP Technologies across multiple environments.
• Perform problem diagnosis and utilise technical expertise to develop options and solutions to specific problems that are technical in nature and contribute to remediation and recovery activities.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must-have

• Strong verbal and writing English skills
• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity incident handling and experience in Security Operation Centre in Banking/Finance.
• Knowledge of security policy and technical standard development, multi-tiered trust zone structures, and complex EDR, XDR management systems.
• Experience with MS Purview, MDE, Insider Risk Management, etc.
• Experience with Splunk and other similar tools/platforms.
• Experience in improving and automating reports.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python or others.
• High level of technical competence at design, engineering, and operation of security platforms.
• Technical analytical skills.
• Delivery and execution.
• Communication and Documentation.
• Knowledge of data security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Work with Data Protection Operations and Platforms teams, Data Loss Prevention reporting and metric generation; Look for areas for improvements in our operating and monitoring process, practices, or policies.
• Year of Exp in Cybersecurity/ Security Operations 
• Grasp of process in incident response and Security policies
